Nitrex Metal Technologies (NMT)
- Commenced operations in 1990
- Added two additional facilities by 1995

- become the premiere provider of commercial nitriding and nitro-carburizing services offering up to 25 tons per day of production capacity in 8 batch furnaces
- Continuous nitriding/nitro-carburizing furnace (7-10 ton capacity per day)
- TS-16949:2002, ISO 9001:2000 and AS 9100 certified
- Currently exceeds 50,000 sq. ft.

- First in Canada to commercially operate Cast Link Belt furnaces
- Establishment “in-house” heat treating alongside customers’ facility
- Incorporation of CNC machining into a Heat Treating facility

- 1st to publish and be recognized internationally with own heat treating specification (AMS 2759/10)
- Use of Optical Spectrometer technology for carbon control
- Innovative, results-driven furnace design (Rotary Furnace, Walking Beam Furnace, Continuous Nitriding Furnace*)
